Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about charger power, load balancing, installation requirements, Green Technology tax reduction and compatibility.
How do I know what charging power my home can support?
It depends on your main fuse, electrical panel, available capacity, cable size and the car’s onboard charger. We check the installation before confirming the maximum suitable charging power.
Do I need load balancing?
Not always, but it is often recommended when household electricity use is high or the main fuse has limited spare capacity. Load balancing automatically reduces charging power when the home needs more electricity and increases it again when capacity is available.
Can I charge at 22 kW at home?
Possibly. You need a suitable three-phase installation, enough available electrical capacity and a vehicle that can accept that charging power. A 22 kW charger does not automatically mean the car will charge at 22 kW.
Can I get the Green Technology tax reduction for my charger installation?
Eligible private customers can currently receive a 50% tax reduction on qualifying work and material costs for installation of an EV charging point. Eligibility depends on the property, customer and installation conditions.
Can you install a charger I already purchased?
Usually yes, provided the charger is suitable for the Swedish electrical system, the installation conditions are compatible and the required documentation is available. We confirm compatibility before installation.
What do you need to know before giving me a price?
We normally need the charger model, car model, main fuse size, electrical panel location, approximate cable distance and where you want the charger installed. Photos of the electrical panel, meter and installation area are very helpful.
